We couldn't possibly think of a signle thing that we would have changed when it comes to our Wedding Day and Gillian's photography. Todd and I were introduced to Gillian during our Engagement session while we were visiting in Myrtle Beach. We fell in love with her personality. She made our engagement session truley special and gifted us with the most beautiful pictures. We are from upstate New York so we were very dissapointed that someone as talented as Gillian was so far away and that we would have to find someone else for our Wedding. Who knew that Gillian would actually offer to come all the way out to Syracuse, NY and then drive an hour to our reception just to capture our special day. Our wedding day brought some rain, cool weather and we ran into a few areas where we seemed to have lack of time for more photos. However, Gillian worked her magic and we have no doubt that our wedding pictures will be just as beautiful as our engagement session. Dear future brides: Picking the right photographer might be one of the most important decisions during the planning process. I can honestly say: I can't stop watching our video or viewing our pictures that Gillian produced. My entire family is in complete awe over her incredible work. I get chills when I look at the pictures (good chills) Gillian was everywhere capturing every candid moment ... which is exactly what I wanted her to do. Nothing looked posey and we had such a great time working with her. I never thought I looked good on camera until Gillian got behind that camera. Don't even waste your time looking ... she is fun, smart and passionate about her job! I can't wait to have babies so she can be a part of it all!

The first time I spoke with Gillian I felt like we clicked. Our first conversation was like talking to an old friend. I immediately choose her services and extremely happy about my decision. She was so accommodating and helpful from the very beginning. We did our engagement pictures in October and we received so many compliments about how wonderful the pictures came out. Due to the exceptional quality of the photos, we were able to use them on our save the dates and invitations. I highly recommend Gillian's macrophotography for upclose shots of your rings. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. Gillian and her assistant, John, were there for me throughout the day. She helped me keep calm before the ceremony and was right there if I had a question about how to do something. She is quick and stealth, which will result in some amazing candid shots. Very patient with family members and keeps things moving! I am hoping we can use Carolina Photo Studios services again!!!

When I started planning my wedding the first thing on my list was to find the perfect photographer, a know it was a little out of order but our wedding pictures had to be perfect! I met with a few photographers before I met with Gillian. As soon as Gillian and I met I fell in love with her work! She really is amazing; she fit my personality 100%! We combined a couple of her packages to fit what I was looking for, and she was so easy to work with. I knew I had to find someone that could work with anyone because my fiancé was not really into taking pictures and was not thrilled that I had set up an engagement session. When we talked to Gillian about the engagement session, Joe and I wanted something different and not the typical engagement posed pictures! We had so much fun and that was only just the beginning. My bridal portraits were just as wonderful! I hadn’t originally planned a bridal session but after the engagement, it was a must! I had too much fun that day with Gillian and Corey; we took pictures pretty much the whole day! Our wedding went so smoothly and I hardly even noticed Gillian and her crew! They did such a wonderful job and took a million pictures! When I got the wedding pictures back they were sensational! I was so impressed how perfect they came out. The day really does fly by and you need those pictures to remember how perfect the day went! I would highly recommend Gillian, she is wonderful with children and will make you husband laugh (which sometimes can be tough to do). I can’t wait to work with her again! Carolina Studios did an amazing job at my wedding this past May! I had a destination wedding and Gillian was extremely flexible when it came to scheduling meetings. The prices were very reasonable! I could not have asked for a more professional photographer.

Gillian will not only be your photographer, but she will become your friend. When I started looking for photographers, I wanted somebody that was easy to talk and get along with. I met with a couple others before coming across Gillian and they all seemed so cold, and asking questions and getting information out of them was like pulling teeth. The first time I called Gillian we spoke on the phone for about an hour, just like we were old friends. I knew then she was the one. We did engagement pictures, the wedding, and newborn pictures when our son was born with Gillian, and all of the pictures are just FABULOUS! You will not regret choosing her for all your photography needs. I wish I wasn't moving, because otherwise Gillian would be our photographer FOR LIFE! :)

Gillian and her associate Michelle have been wonderful during the wedding process...from taking an afternoon full of engagement shots, capturing our wedding day and then working together to purchase items! They were so easy to talk to and made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. While walking through the streets of Charleston, S.C. for our engagement session we were amazed at how quickly we forget the cameras were there and just enjoyed ourselves. This continued on our wedding day and we were able to have some amazing candid shots due to their quick thinking and ability to "be everywhere". I would highly recommend Gillain and her studio to any bride who wishes to feel completely at ease and have 100% trust in their photographers!

If you are looking for a photographer in the Myrtle Beach area, Gillian is the best. She takes fabulous pictures! In addition, she was incredibly accomodating and so much fun to work with.

Make sure you express all of your ideas! This photographer is very open to new things and ideas. She is funny and makes you feel good in front of the camera. Just remember to have fun, because the best photos are the ones that show your true feelings.

Carolina studios is amazing, I choose Gillian to take our wedding photos back in 2008. The services and products she provided us with were top notch. My husband and I enjoyed working with her so much that when our son was born this past year we choose to go back to her for family photographs. She is very easy to work with and understands what you want.

Gillian is awesome. If i had to have someone follow me around for a day, she is the person. Fun, felxable and very helpful. Takes what ever shots you want and others that she knows will look great.
