Delicious cake. We had red velvet cake with cream cheese and chocolate ganache filling, and butter cream frosting. The price was right in line with what we expected to pay for our wedding cake. Debbie is exceptionally sweet, and we loved having an opportunity to support a local small business — and more importantly, were thrilled with their baking skills, and the delicious, delicious cake we enjoyed on our wedding day.

I contacted this vendor the week of my wedding and they were nothing short of awesome. They did exactly what I wanted and were very flexible with the pickup. And the cupcakes tasted good. Debbie was a pleasure to work with.

DeClare Cakes made both our grooms cake and wedding cake, and did a wonderful job with both! The are truly a pleasure to work with and not your average company. When I sat down with Debbie (Chef) she asked me questions to find out about my personality, style, etc to design a cake for me not just copy someone elses. My husband, a professional tennis player, had a beyond awesome cake designed by Debbie that was the hit of our rehersal dinner! Thank you DeClare!

These two ladies are phenomenal! Because we live in Atlanta, this Charleston Place Hotel wedding was planned mostly by telephone, and DeClare Cakes provided the most BEAUTIFUL wedding cake, designed from a picture emailed to them! And the groom's cake (a crawfish!) was also designed from a picture! I have never dealt with anyone more professional, kind and understanding, and clearly talented as these two ladies. The cakes also tasted yummy....all the guests were raving! My hat is off to DeClare Cakes, and I will forever be screaming their praises!

We were SO happy and pleased with our wedding cake! I have never heard so much good feedback, and our guests were going back for 2nd and 3rd slices!! We completely trusted Debbie and Alison with our simple, yet unique ideas for design and flavors and they delivered 100%! They helped us find flavors and colors that we both loved and matched our wedding theme. They also made sure we were completely happy with all the details, right down to the cake stand, and the buttons down the back of the cake to match my wedding dress. We were thrilled and so were all of our guests! One of our guests from our wedding is already planning to use them for her August wedding!! They are wonderful!

What a great experience and such a fantastic cake! I live in New York so planning my wedding in Wild Dunes was a bit unnerving as I didn’t have the opportunity to meet with many of our vendors face to face. The ladies at DeClare were unbelievably patient and gracious. They worked closely with me and my mom, they set up a tasting for my aunt and cousin to attend on my behalf and put my mind at ease with frequent communication. Along with their stellar service the cake was better than I’d ever imagined. It was absolute perfection. Guests continue to talk about how amazing the cake was and more importantly how divine the red velvet was. For discerning New Yorkers this says a lot.

DeClare Cakes worked diligently and patiently with us as we planned all the details of our wedding. They were flexible, helpful, and always only an email or phone call away! I could always get in touch with them and they responded very quickly to whatever need I had. (very helpful for the bride in charge of multiple vendors) I didn't have to worry about a single detail- they handled it all. The cake was fabulous from taste to presentation! They provide the unique experience of tailoring your cake(s) to fit your personality and your needs. My husband is still talking about the surprise baseball grooms cake that DeClare Cakes did for us. It is one of his favorite memories from our wedding day.

Before my husband and I had our cake tasting I was convinced that we would have a very normal wedding cake (vanilla or chocolate). After meeting with Chef Deb, we quickly changed our minds. She was so knowledgeable and willing to explain their process to us. We ended up going with Strawberry cake, Strawberry glaze and European Buttercream. Before you think that that is way too much strawberry, you should probably taste it! Not only are the flavors not fake but they are not overpowering. The wedding cake was the best food we had all night and I still wanted more of it!! I can't wait until 2/25/2013 when we get to eat the top tier. Allison is such a sweet entrepreneur and so helpful. She was able to help me with the cake stand. Since it was my mother's 60th birthday a few weeks before the wedding, we came up with a chocolate cupcake to surprise here with. By far the best wedding cake I have ever had!!
