Dealing with Kimberly was an absolute pleasure ! I had seen a cake and feel madly in love with it's design and had contacted her to see if it could be re made for my Marie Antoinette birthday celebration. She was beyond professional and contacted me right away with information , pricing and a contract to fill out. Months after placing my order it was time to recieve my long awaited customized cake design and as I begun to un pack it I was falling madly in love with the cake all over again ! It was more than I could have imagined it would be, it was an exact replica of the picture I had send perhaps even better that I had to call Kimberly my self just moments after un packing the cake to thank her and to compliment her amazing work ! Kimberley's professionalism and devotion in her work is outstanding as a result, I highly recommend her and have already created another customized cake : )

Let me say that I was really hesitant at first when I found cake stands for rent on the internet. Who actually does that? Well Kimberly does and she does it with the greatest of ease. The stand was delivered to my door in time for the 50th birthday celebration and all the packaging and return label was ready to be shipped back to the vendor with the greatest of ease via Fed EX. Thank you Kimberly for saving the birthday celebration and let me say the cake stand looked GORGEOUS!!!

I live in Texas and got married in Michigan. I found Kimberly at Fun Cakes through other bridal websites and after reading great reviews, I contacted her. Planning a long distance wedding is very difficult, but Kimberly made it so much easier. She went out of her way to meet with me and my parents when I was back in town and always maintained contact by sending photos of her work progression though emails and phone calls. She is very honest and based on her experience will tell you what will and will not look right. While planning, I sent her photos of a couple of different cakes that I loved and she helped me create my dream cake at a great price. I am still receiving compliments on how beautiful the cake was and no one but my fiance and parents knew that it was not real. She also dropped off the cake to my venue before the ceremony. It was so nice to not have to worry about that with everything else that is happening leading up to your big day. I would definitely recommend Fun Cakes! You can have a beautiful, stunning cake and not pay thousands of dollars for it! Thank you so much Kimberly!!!!!

Kimberly is AMAZING and a delight to work with. When I first met her, even before we started talking cakes we somehow got to talking and found out a lot about each other. I really enjoyed how personal and yet professional she was. She let me look through her store and showed me a ton of different cakes and gave me honest opinions about each of them. In the end I got a very unique cake that cost my MUCH less than it would have if I'd gotten a real one! No one knew the difference, and I got so many comments on how unique the cake was. I got the centerpiece cake I had dreamed about without breaking the bake to get it!

She's awesome and I highly recommend FunCake Rentals!!! For a fraction of the cost for a cake you always dream of having.... it's worth it! Kimberly was awesome!! I had a cake in mind and everyone local wanted an arm and an leg to design it for me.... talked to Kimberly and she was excited to make my cake! She was easy to talk to and a pleasure to work with!!! My cake turned out to be gorgeous and everyone couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was!

I was actually looking online for different cake places and found this on my google search. After watching (I think) the Today show, I saw Kimberly from Fun Cake Rental and they mentioned she was from Grandville, MI (where I am also from). I thought this was SO cool. I went to her shop and was just absolutely blown away. I got an already made cake and she just edited a few things about it. White four tier cake with little "diamonds" and a lavender bow on it. When it got to my house I was absolutely blown away! I couldn't stop looking at it. I got tons of compliments at the wedding and "omgoodness those cakes are so expensive" ...little did they know it was fake and didn't even compare in cost to the others! It was all I could do to get my caterer to not cut it up and try serving it- I think I told them four times it wasn't real! Loved it and working with Kim was awesome...would recommend her to anyone.

I wanted a movie quality looking cake at a students budget and Kim at Fun Cakes did that for us! We got so many compliments on the cake and no one had any idea it was fake. It looks great in our pictures too!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding cake! Our super mario cake came out PERFECT. It was awesome and everybody loved it! Kimberly is so wonderful to work with. I wanted to have a nice cake but like every other bride, we were on a budget. I also wanted to serve ice cream cake for our wedding but also wanted a cake that I have always envisioned. Kim with Fun Cakes was just the answer to our prayers! She was great! Responded right away, accommodated our requests and I appreciated her honesty. She also ordered custom-made cake stand for us (the silver stand was just so elegant) as well as monogram. When I found my cake, I felt like the bride in 'Say Yes to the Dress' and said 'This is my cake!'. It was elegant, stunning, everything that I was looking for. Kim was the first supplier to tell me that I don't need to worry, everything would be great and I will be a stunning bride. I admire that she cared so much coz she was not only concerned to rent her cakes but cared for the bride as well. Cant wait to show her the pictures/video of our cake cutting.

We had such an amazing experience with FunCakes Rental! We loved the idea of having a "fake cake", as we were more concerned with the cake being a work of art than with serving the sweet treat. Kimberly was extremely professional and prompt in all of her communications and the "fake cake" arrived on time and in perfect condition! Kimberly & FunCakes... Amazing! Kimberly is an amazing cake designer. She is very detailed & so fun to chat w/. I saw FunCakes Rental on Rachel Ray (my husband is fan LOL) & knew right away that I was going to order my Vegas theme wedding cake from them. We weren't having a huge wedding, but I wanted to have the 3 tier cake without a ton of cake left over. Renting a cake & having it still customized for what I wanted was a terrific idea. I did a lot of research for the exact look I wanted. It was a Vegas theme, but I also wanted a 'wedding' cake. Kimberly & I talked alot about my ideas & when my cake was delivered in the giant pink box... It was more then I ever imaged.

My wedding was in Mass. and my guests and I all loved the rented "fake cake" I got from Kimberly! I chose a tall 3-tier cake that later appeared on Rachel Ray and it was gorgeous. I know a fake cake is supposed to be a secret, but I was so proud of my savviness I told everyone. No one could believe it was fake! I would never have been able to afford such a gorgeous real cake and recommend Fun Cakes to everyone!! The cake was easy to assemble, and my Maid of Honor popped it back in the box and shipped it out the next day! The only thing was shipping to MA from MI cost $100, which makes sense but I wasn't expecting that. Awesome! I would do it again and again!

My husband and I are about to celebrate our one year anniversary on November 15. Our budget for our wedding was extremely tight, but I knew that I wanted a memorable cake. I couldn't find anything at all that I could afford. My mom saw Kimberly on Good Morning America and contacted her. Within hours we had a response from Kimberly welcoming us to come visit the showroom. I shared my ideas with her (I wanted part of my cake burgundy), Kimberly said "We've never done burgundy, I am thrilled to play around with the fondant to get it just how you want." And boy did she. After a conversation with Kimberly I completely trusted her and her team and gave her creative liberties with my cake. It turned out to be absolutely perfect and was so gorgeous people are still commenting on it. And my wallet was spared gourmet bakery cost, but we still got the top of the line look! Thank you!!!

Our cake was beautiful and FunCakes was very flexible in when we could return it since we live near their facility and they were easy to meet with. Renting my cake allowed more flexibility in what sheet cake flavors and frosting flavors we served.

I had been planning my wedding for over 18 months and I knew exactly what I wanted our cake to look like. The only problem was no one around here could do what I wanted, especially in the price range I had set aside for the cake. Once I found Kim, I was so excited! She responded back real fast and worked with me to make my design perfect. The cake was the only thing I knew I wouldn't have to worry about coming together. It arrived in plenty of time for set up. The trap door was real easy to work and no one ever knew. They guests said it was the most gorgeous cake they had ever seen! Thanks Kim for adding that extra special touch to the wedding!

I used Fun Cakes to make a "grooms cake topper" for my husband at our rehersal dinner. My husband is a huge train buff and they were able to make a steam engine with him and I (looking very much like us both) standing on the train. My husband loved it and we still have it displayed on a shelf in his "train room". When I decided to have this made it was very close to my wedding- but the team at Fun Cakes was helpful and prompt in getting it to me. The attention to detail was amazing. Thanks to the Fun Cakes team for making the grooms cake so special.

I never got my hopes up that much for the cake at our wedding; we were on a tight budget and I figured if I couldn't get anything creative, I'd just settle for something cheap. Then I saw Fun Cakes online and I thought it was brilliant. We picked a design that was already built and got a sheet cake from a local grocery store. The cake got so much attention (it was green with the frogs on top) and everyone figured we'd spent a fortune! never would I have thought I would be one of those brides with a cool, creative cake...how awesome having it be a foam cake- easy to transport, no worry about melting, etc. I had a ton of questions b/c the fake cake thing was just too good to be true; the price was so low and Kimberly was willing to work quickly for us, as I only had about a month to the wedding. Everything was fantastic, the idea of a 'fake cake' was awesome, Kim was great, and we still kept our budget in check while getting to have a creative, designer cake!

FunCakes Rental was truly an awesome experience. We were able to have a two foot tall cake at our Wedding and it looked amazing! No one ever knew the whole thing was a sham! I especially like that you can still "cut" into your cake for pictures. Kimberly was amazing to deal with and everything went absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!
