All of the girls at Gown Boutique were amazing! From the first phone call to set up my appointment I felt that I would be in good hands. The selection was by far not only the largest in Charleston, but I also found amazing gowns at great prices for the quality that they are! They really guided me to styles that complimented my figure and were most honest, not at all pushy, and truly made me feel comfortable. I know that I have made the Best decision by choosing my gown at this Five Star boutique!

The ladies at the Gown Boutique made my wedding day PERFECT!! I only had 7 months to get my dress in and fitted for a wedding in Florida. Not only did they get it in on time but the first dress fitting the size was almost perfect! By the second dress fitting the dress was perfect and I was headed home to Florida with it a month before the wedding! They worked hard to make sure I had everything I needed in time! Such a pleasure to work with!!!!! People couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the dress was! Thank you so much ladies!!!

The ladies at the Gown Boutique were absolutely wonderful. They make you feel right at home and help you to find your style, even if you go in not knowing what direction that you want to go!! It was a relaxed atmosphere and they make you feel like a princess. I would highly recommend them to find your dress, especially during a trunk show!! Such a great experience!!

The Gown Boutique of Charleston was amazing to work with. Because they are by "appointment only" you really do get such a personal experience when you go there. You feel like you are the only one in the store, and feel so special (which you should when you are shopping for your wedding dress!!). They have a huge selection of perfectly preserved sample dresses to choose from, as well as amazing dresses to order. Mine was a sample dress, and I fell in love with it the moment I put it on. The dress was in great condition...had a small ink mark that they were able to get out, but otherwise looked perfect! Christina and Terri that work there are amazing. They are wonderful salespeople, make you feel so comfortable, and really do make you feel like they care about YOU. Because my dress was a sample, it needed a lot of alterations...taken in, and we changed the shape of it. I had to go back a few times for them, but their alterations department is amazing, and we got the right fit! It was exactly what I envisioned in my mind, and I was very pleased with the end result (as well as the price, I was afraid with all of the alterations that it would be so much more). I also chose to buy my "birdcage" veil there as well, which Terri was able to adjust for me and split the flower and veil parts so that I could keep just the flower in after the ceremony. Everyone there was wonderful to work with, so sweet and professional, and I am so sad that I do not have a reason to go in there anymore! I absolutely would recommend them to anyone...they are fantastic!

I had a vision for what I wanted, and a budget! I've heard horror stories of girls paying twice as much as they wanted to for a dress because that's all they could find they liked. Gown Boutique has TONS of dresses at every price point, it was hard to choose! They are very close to their designers and so very knowladgeble of what they can do to a dress to make it more you. For example I wanted a thicker strap than what was provided on the dress, so they made them for me! They don't just sell you a dress and send you on your way, they hold your hand thru every step until you pick it up, pressed and ready, right before your wedding!

I loved working with Terri, Krista and Christina at the Gown Boutique! I purchased my dress there and I also got all my bridesmaids dresses there. When I went there I had no clue what I wanted. They were so helpful and I tried on many different style dresses until I found the perfect one. I did not want strapless so they were able to add straps to the dress and you would never know! It looks like it was supposed to have straps. We also added a sewn in sash with a broach. Everything was perfect! The Bridesmaids dresses were gorgeous! I wanted each girl to have the same color but different style. They made it so easy for me! They showed me which designers had this option. Not everyone lived here so they were able to work with the out of town girls to get their sizes and sent them their dress. I received many compliments on both my dress and the bridesmaid dresses. They made me feel so special every time I was in there!!

The Gown Boutique of Charleston staff were so helpful in helping me find my dream dress. I couldn't ask for a better place to purchase my dress. I told them what I was looking for in a dress and I got my princess fairy tale dress. Absolutely stunning, I love my dress.

I traveled to Gown Boutique of Charleston from Florida because I was extremely interested in trying on an Adele Wechsler gown. The shop is just outside Charleston in an office complex. At first, we thought it was a little strange that the shop was in an office building, but once you’re inside the boutique, you would be hard pressed to know it. The interior is beautiful, and all the dresses were spectacular. We had a great time trying on the dresses, and both Terri and her staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. Since I live in Florida, I decided to have the gown shipped to me. It arrived quicker than I expected, and Gown Boutique packaged it so that it arrived in perfect condition. The one thing that threw a few customers that came in after us was that Gown Boutique asks you to wash your hands before handling the dresses. Don't worry! It’s just to keep the gowns looking amazing.

Terri and the girls make every bride feel special. They help you find that "perfect dress" that truly makes you look amazing. They will not let you wear anything that looks bad and they know their dresses. They are educated in fabric and design. I walked in and immediately felt at easy with Terri helping me pick a gown. It was no stress and truly what a dress shopping experience should be.

I recently had a wonderful experience at Gown Boutique. Terri was amazing and so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! She really is an expert in bridal gowns and knows what will look best not only for your specific venue/location but also for your body type. I wanted a simple gown that would work well for my outdoor wedding on the water/golf course in Hilton Head and I found just that! You would not believe all the compliments I got! Gown Boutique also has a great variety of accessories and veils. I got my veil and some gorgeous earrings there too. Overall, the service was wonderful as the people there are so warm and welcoming and they have a beautiful selection of high quality bridal gowns. If you are looking for the overall "perfect" experience in the lowcountry I would highly suggest choosing Gown Boutique! I drove 2 hours all the way from Hilton Head for all my fittings but it was well worth it!

The Gown Boutique was my first, and last, stop for a dress. We had a late afternoon appointment, and I tried on half a dozen dresses before deciding that a gorgeous Amy Kuschel was going to be my wedding dress. Terri was so amazingly helpful, and very knowledgeable- and didn't say a peep when we unwittingly kept her there far later than our appointment time was intended to be. The fact that all of the associates at Gown Boutique have an extensive knowledge of clothing design and dressmaking was very comforting to me- most importantly, all alterations are done IN HOUSE! And the woman that worked on my alterations was such a sweet and talented person. I recommend any bride looking for their gown try the Gown Boutique FIRST, even if it is a little out of the way! They are just so wonderful to work with.

Simply the best to work with. All the dresses for the bridesmaids, the Mother of the Bride and Groom and my gown came from Gown Boutique of Charleston. The dresses were exquisite, very competitively priced and their customer service was exceptionable. They have a wonderful alterations staff as well.

I couldn't be happier that I purchased my wedding gown from Gown Boutique of Charleston. The boutique is absolutely stunning and Krista and Terri make you feel so comfortable and welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They encouraged me to try on dress after dress so that I could be sure that I knew what style was best for me. I received countless compliments on my gown and I've never felt more beautiful in my life. Lada, the woman who altered my dress did an absolutely perfect job. Also, because I had a shorter engagement than usual my dress had to be rushed. They incurred the cost for the rush and it arrived a bit earlier than expected. The alterations had to be done quickly, but as said before, they were perfect! I'm so, so happy I was able to work with Krista, Terri, and Lada!!!

The whole process at Gown Boutique was fantastic! They gave you a lot of personal attention and were there to make sure you were absolutely satisfied with everything!

They did last minute changes to my dress that made a world of difference! My only advice to brides would be to make sure it fits perfectly well before the big day. If it's too tight, tell them to loosen it!

The fabulous experience is worth every single penny! I went over my original budget, but knew I would be thrilled when I put on my gown on my wedding day. They have a wonderful selection of dresses, and focus on making your experience unique to your vision of your day. Terri helped with every aspect of my fittings and was right about every brilliant suggestion she made - I loved my fit and bustle. Terri and Krista share their wamrth, fun, and professionalism with you in every interaction. I appreciated them keeping me on schedule as my wedding date grew near - reminding me when I needed to order my gown, think about bridesmaid dresses, schedule fittings, etc. Have fun! I had been searching high and low for the perfect brooch for my wedding dress and Gown Boutique of Charleston had so many to choose from! The ladies at the Boutique were very kind and I was SO pleased with my brooch!

I LOVE the Gown Boutique of Charleston! I found the most amazing sample dress there and walked out of the store a very happy customer! After visiting several other gown shops, they exceeded all my expectations. I was coming in from out of town very last minute, and despite the fact that they were completely booked, they made an opening for me so that I could try on dresses during our stay in Charleston. It was the only chance I had to have my mom experience the dress shopping, and I'm so thankful for that! They take very good care of their dresses, the shop is beautiful, and they help find a dress in your price range without guilt! We were given mimosas as we shopped and my mom and I felt like royalty the whole time! The ladies helping us were fantastic and their selection of dresses was, in my subjective opinion, far and away the best out of the 4 shops I visited.

After a bit of searching, we found the right dress for the right price.I also appreciated that the store was so well kept and orderly. Sometimes bridal stores can feel a little cramped! Also, all the display dresses were in great shape.He was nice, polite and well dressed, didn't gab too much on the microphone and followed the schedule to a T- until I needed to change it, and then, he just went with the flow. He played ALL my must have songs, DIDN'T play anything on the do not play list- and kept the party going until the bitter end!
