Brenda was great... No matter how many ideas I threw her way she helped me make the right decision. The cake was not only GORGEOUS but DELICIOUS! We got the marble cake with butter cream frosting. The cake arrived on time and we couldn't have asked for more. I even ate another BIG piece the next day. Every bride is a bit nervous (especially when it comes to cake) but you don't need to worry with Brenda. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone who will be honest and try to do their best for you.

Brenda made my daughter's wedding cake for her beach wedding on 9-10-11. I found her online about 6 months ago when the date was first set & got in touch with her about making the cake after reading wonderful reviews about her. I was really worried because we live in North Carolina and trying to plan a wedding in another state was really going to be a challenge since I was not familiar with vendors in the area. After reading good reviews about Brenda, I called her & told her what we wanted & had the cake cut down to the size we wanted it. Her price was very reasonable so I went with her. She made it very accomodating to deliver the cake at the last minute before the wedding because we had an outdoor reception & did not want the cake to melt by being there too early. I hate I did not get to meet her but being the mother of the bride I was running around crazy at that point and she had the cake set up when the ceremony was over. The cake was beautiful as well as delicious & my daughter was very happy with it because we had chosen this cake from a picture she had on her website & was exactly what my daughter wanted when she first saw it. Thanks again Brenda! I would recommend Brenda to anyone that needs a cake of any kind.

Brenda made my son Nolan's first birthday cake and recently my aunt's 50th birthday cake. I found Brenda on Facebook and after seeing some of the cakes she had made for friends I messaged her. She offered to make Nolan's cake at a great price. I sent her photos of his party decorations and asked her to come up with a design to match. She delivered the cake to my home at no charge and both cakes (the sheet cake and his small cake) turned out super cute, exactly what I was hoping for! The cakes were also delicious..a big hit with everyone! Hence the reason whn my family wanted to order a cake for my aunt's 50th birthday they decided to go with Brenda! I believe I asked Brenda about a week and a half in advance and she agreed to do it. I simply asked her to do a beach theme. She delivered the cake to my grandparents home. The cake turned out beautiful..my only complaint is it didn't say Happy "50th" Just happy birthday. Brenda does beautiful work and she is easy to work with and very accomodating! I highly recommend Thee Cake Lady!

Before my wedding, which was on July 23, 2011, I remembered that my sister had a beautiful cake made for her bridal shower. So, upon asking my sister who made her cake, I got in touch with Brenda, TheeCakeLady. She asked me what I wanted, gave me a great price, and delivered an AMAZING cake to my wedding! I couldn't have asked for a more professional, wonderful experience. Brenda's cakes are truly the best there is! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

I was fortunate enough to find Brenda from 8 hours away...all of our business was taken care of over the phone, we never actually met in person! I told Brenda what I was looking for, and told her that I wanted something chocolate with a chocolate filling..something rich ;) She delivered a gorgeous beach-themed cake to my reception venue, and it was perfect! It was everything I wanted it to be....beachy, delicious, and beautiful. I highly recommend Brenda, she was very easy to work with and very flexible. It made it much easier to plan our wedding from so far away when we knew that we didn't have to worry about the cake!!!!!!

Brenda made our beach themed wedding cake exactly what we wanted. It tasted amazing and looked great. Everyone at our reception loved it and commented on what a great job she did. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

Not only was the cake beautiful and affordable it was also delicious. Brenda was so easy to work with.. mind you .. it was all done over the phone. I simply gave her an idea of what the bride wanted based on some of her online photos and could not have been happier with the end result. The cake was spectacular and ordered on very short notice. What can I say about Brenda the amazing cake lady I found on the Internet. Well let me start by saying she agreed to do a tasting for us and brought us an arrangement of cupcakes, which were quite yummy. She got the cake style I had in mind right on the money, and let me tell you it was the best tasting cake I ever had. Wish we had a rehearsal dinner the night before because there would have been enough cake for that too. And she definitely gives you a lot for your money, we cut huge pieces of cake and there was plenty left over. I wish I had the recipe she used because it was the best Red Velvet cake I have ever had. She went out of her way and delivered to our reception in North Myrtle Beach. She also made a small cake for me and my husband for my birthday, and it was wonderful. She is the best ever, so anytime I need a cake while I’m down there, she will be the one I call. Too bad she doesn’t live closer… She also went out of her way to get the ribbon that matched my colors exactly…. She is the best, when we renew our vows, I hope she will still be in business.

Thee cake lady is a wonderful person to work with. She gave us what we wanted & more in our wedding cake. We weren't sure how big the cake would be. We asked for a 3 tier beige cake. We thought it would be small because of the low price for the cake. We were very surprised at how big the cake was & very, very good. It had a pink tint, but was beautiful. We saw a picture of a beige cake & was glad ours had a pink tint. I think our wedding cake is the most beautiful cake on the site, but of course I would think that. Thanks again & again Brenda for such a beautiful & delicious Wedding cake!!!

Brenda made my fiancée birthday cake! It was exactly what he wanted so thank you so much for the wonderful experience, she will be making my Chihuahuas cake next!

I must say that Brenda is one of the BEST CAKE DECORATORS in Myrtle Beach...She takes Great Pride in her work...She always goes out of her way to make sure every detail is just perfect...She puts her heart and soul into each cake she makes...and tries her best to make sure each bride is very pleased with her wedding cake (even though there will always be one that you can never make happy no matter what)...I would recommend her for any occasion that you need a cake...She has some very unique ideas and is always listening to the ideas of what others have in mind...and more times than not...you will walk away pleased with the OUTSTANDING work she does :)

I got married on 1-1-11 and i was very nervous when it came to the cake. Being an artist i designed the cake and wasnt too sure i was going to be able to find anybody that was willing to work with me and do exactly what i wanted. Brenda was recommended to me by my mother in law (she did her cake too!) and i am sure glad she was. my cake was perfect. Brenda took a picture that i emailed her and made my fantasy a reality. She is the best and i would definately recommend her to anyone for any occasion.

My cake looked like a miniature version of what it was supposed to be! I was so disappointed!

However I am just here to tell you Thank You very much for everything and even helping me figure out what I want and when I am not sure you get some ideas and take off with it yourself ( and always get that right too ) !! Brenda, you are the best............ thank you so much for my wedding cake, my husband and I loved everything about it. Hey everyone you should know that I have never met this woman, all I know is that she was in the middle of moving and a family emergency when I asked in 2 weeks to have the perfect cake and she pulled it off by word of my #1 friend and emails. Thank you soo much and I can't wait till next year when I have you make me another one for our first anniversery party...........
